1. Choose a seed. Start with Earth, Water, Fire or Air. Lineage choices are optional.

2. Choose its place. Click open ground. The preview shows where your seed will grow.

3. Give it care. Water and sing once each day. An egg remembers how it was raised.

4. Find a useful habitat. Arrange lets you search by name, element or purpose.

Build around the growing patch. Place habitats near the seed. Their influence rings can overlap.

5. Let the garden grow. Seeds become sprouts and eggs. Rest to dawn advances one garden day.

6. Welcome your new resident. Adults roam freely. Find, follow, edit and ask them to help.

7. Follow the field book. Claim completed chapters to earn nectar and open the next garden.

Keep everyone within reach. My pixies includes every resident, even those resting in the sanctuary.

Discover what makes her different. Inspect an adult to explore her nature, growing history and useful gifts.

Explore inheritance when you are ready. Two adults can lend traits to a new seed. Both parents stay with you.

Make the details your own. Change proportions, features, clothing, dust and movement; Apply to keep them.

Walk inside your garden. C changes view. Use WASD to walk and hold the right mouse button to look.

Save a garden to come back to. Save / menu offers named slots. Continue uses a separate automatic save.
