Original mountain ridge and flight route illustration

Fly Operation Abendlied: a continuous fifteen-minute sortie in a Heinkel He 177, among a force of 512 bombers. Keep formation through the crossing, survive coordinated interceptions, line up the military targets, then bring your crew back over the ridge.

A continuous operation

Assembly, climb, rendezvous, crossing, interception, initial point, bombing line, egress and the homeward ridge unfold in one aircraft and one world. Losses stay with the formation. Your bombs have to hit.

Voices in the machine

Twenty-six recorded German crew lines accompany the sortie. Choose English or German captions, adjust voice volume, or replay the last line. Pause holds the flight and radio together.

The seven-base archive

Fly the earlier Blackbird campaign through seven Alpine bases: reconnaissance, dogfighting, dive bombing, helicopter rescue and an escape aboard a fictional armed airship. Nine airframes and twenty-one objective rehearsals remain in the archive.

Your record stays here

Normal flight checkpoints save on your computer. The rehearsal desk lets you jump between phases without changing your campaign progress.

Flight controls & edition notes

Mouse or arrows steer. W/S changes throttle; A/D banks; Q/E controls rudder. N switches route assistance. Tab selects an attacker, G commands defensive fire, V enters the gunner station, B opens the bombsight and Space releases bombs. C changes view; Esc pauses; F2 opens the rehearsal desk.

This is a fictional alternate-history April 1945 operation. Period aircraft markings appear in the game. The armed airship programme and Alpine operation are invented. Crew recordings use an anonymous synthetic cast.

68 source checks pass. Launcher startup, flight rendering, recorded-voice loading and save retention were checked on Linux. Windows and Mac device testing, complete human playthrough, balance and listening acceptance remain open.
